Manage your WordPress site from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or another MCP assistant. You approve every real change in WordPress.

== Description ==

SamAutomation Sitebeheer connects your WordPress site to the assistant you already use. Ask it to improve a post, find an SEO opportunity in Search Console, or prepare a new page.

The plugin creates a separate WordPress account with limited permissions. Your assistant can read the site and prepare changes. A change goes live only after a WordPress administrator reviews and approves it in WordPress.

You need an account at [Beheer je WP](https://beheerjewp.nl/) to connect. A free plan is available. You arrange your assistant and its subscription directly with Claude, OpenAI, Google, or another provider. Beheer je WP does not resell AI usage.

= External service =

This plugin uses the external Beheer je WP service to connect WordPress to your MCP assistant.

When you connect a site, the plugin sends the following data to `https://beheerjewp.nl`:

* the public URL of your WordPress site;
* an automatically created WordPress username and Application Password;
* a random installation ID and management secret used to revoke the connection.

After connection, Beheer je WP requests only the WordPress data needed for your instruction. This may include posts, pages, media, menus, settings, and SEO fields. Change proposals and their approval status also pass through the service. The plugin sends this data only after a WordPress administrator enters a one-time connection code.

Beheer je WP does not add tracking cookies through this plugin and does not sell website data. You can revoke the connection at any time. The plugin then removes the separate account and Application Password it created.

Read the [privacy policy](https://beheerjewp.nl/privacy) and [terms of service](https://beheerjewp.nl/voorwaarden) before connecting. Details about the service are available at [beheerjewp.nl](https://beheerjewp.nl/).

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate SamAutomation Sitebeheer.
2. Create an account at beheerjewp.nl and add your website.
3. In WordPress, open `Tools > Beheer je WP`.
4. Paste the one-time connection code and approve the connection.
5. Connect `https://beheerjewp.nl/mcp` to your preferred MCP assistant.

You can now give instructions from your assistant. You never need to paste your regular WordPress password into a chat.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Can the assistant publish by itself? =

No. The assistant can prepare a change. A WordPress administrator reviews the difference and approves execution in WordPress. The administrator can also roll back the change while the affected WordPress data has not changed again.

= Which assistants are supported? =

Any MCP client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect to `https://beheerjewp.nl/mcp`. We test with Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex. Available features also depend on the client you choose.

= Does Beheer je WP receive my regular WordPress password? =

No. The plugin creates a separate account and a separate Application Password. You can revoke both from the plugin.

= Do I need a paid AI subscription? =

That depends on your assistant. You use your own subscription for Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or another MCP client. Beheer je WP does not charge for AI tokens.

= What happens when I uninstall the plugin? =

The plugin revokes the connection and removes the separate account, Application Password, custom roles, and local connection data it created.
